WordPress 5.7 Release Candidate

The first release candidate for WordPress 5.7 is now available! WordPress 5.7 RC is compatible with our hosting environment on all hosting plans. There is no auto installer or upgrade path at this time since it is not officially released. Using and testing this version is at your own risk.

“Release Candidate” means that the new version is ready for release, but with millions of users and thousands of plugins and themes, it’s possible something was missed. WordPress 5.7 is slated for release on March 9, 2021.
